Summary: Not only is high schooler Tasuku Kaname the new kid in town, he’s also terrified that he’s been outed as gay. Just as he’s contemplating doing the unthinkable, Tasuku meets a mysterious woman who leads him to a group of people dealing with problems not so different from his own. In this realistic, heartfelt depiction of LGBT+ characters from different backgrounds finding their place in the world, a search for inner peace proves to be the most universal experience of all. Honest review based on an ARC provided by Edelweiss. Many thanks to the publisher for this opportunity.
Our main character has just been discovered as gay by his classmates and feels like his world is ending. It's right then that he finds the drop-in center, as well as the mysterious woman everyone calls Someone-san. These new encounters seem to open his world.
This manga is beautiful in a sense, so beautiful I finished the first volume without even noticing I had gone through half of it. It just went by that fast. We're probably going to know one by one the people in the center and they'll probably help our main character.
By the end of the volume though it seems he has a love interest. That made me quite curious—I just can't resist a romance. Especially if the author's proposal is to be realistic, what are the chances this other character will also be gay and fall for him?
What I really enjoyed so far is that even though it's yet another coming out story, it's not really about him finding out his sexuality. He knows it, he just doesn't know how to deal with that.
This manga has four volumes, if I'm not wrong, so we should soon get the answers. Looking forward!
Rating: 4 out of 5.
