Honest review based on an ARC provided by Edelweiss. Many thanks to the publisher for this opportunity.

This is a coming-of-age story starting when Suzume has to move in with her uncle all the way in Tokyo. At her new school, she meets two guys, being one of them her handsome homeroom teacher and the other the shy boy who sits next to her. The first volume focused on her trying to make new friends and adapt to her new reality, but her feelings seem to be awakening already.

I confess I like a bit too much romances with teachers, but I had no idea this would be one. The teacher in question is very young too, but there's still some age difference, in case this bothers you. So far, it's a little different from Sensei!, especially because the manga doesn't take itself as seriously.

About the triangle, I have said many times already I'm not a fan of this plot device but it doesn't seem that there's any doubt who Suzume's real pair is.

Also, the story is very funny and upbeat, you can read the volume at once and still feel like you could read five more. The characters are lovely. I'm sure we'll get further into their stories but so far, it's just a silly nice story, nothing dramatic.

As for the drawing, it's not the best but I think it agrees with the atmosphere. Of course, it's still as cute as a shoujo manga is expected to be, you shouldn't have any issues against it (I hadn't).

I recommend it to anyone who wants a fun shoujo about school and won't feel bothered by a considerable age difference or the fact it's a love comedy between a student and a teacher.

Rating: 4 out of 5.
